Book the hour, not the room.
Twelve independent houses on the coast and in the country. Pick the hour you came for, and we'll find the dates that hold it.
Supper at half past seven. Whatever came off the boats.
The Somerwell houses
Twelve houses.
One way of keeping them.
Each house is run by the people who live nearest it, and each one is introduced by the hour it does best. Same beds, same care, same member rate across all twelve.
Plan the weekend
Three days,
sketched in hours.
Tell us when you arrive and how much you want to do. We'll sketch the stay from Wrenhaven's own hours. Keep it, change it, or ignore it.
A sketch, not a booking. Hours change with the tide and the season.
Book these three daysRooms, drawn honestly
Where the bed is.
Where the window is.
It's the question guests email about. So every room gets a plan drawn to scale, with the bed, the window and the bath where they really are.
The Bay Room,
Wrenhaven
- First floor
- Sleeps two
- Sea-facing
- Bath by the window
The bath sits beside the bay, so you can see the water from it. The bed faces the sea, not the door. The window seat is deep enough to sleep on, and people do.
Gift an hour
Give someone
a Saturday at nine,
by the fire.
Not a voucher with a number on it. You choose the hour, we hold the room around it, and they pick the weekend.
